Although the results of last Saturday's straw poll were not what our campaign had hoped for, we remain encouraged that we are headed in the right direction.  We do not believe the poll numbers are indicative of the current voting preferences of Arkansas voters in general.  With the understanding that this event was, at its core, a fundraiser, we were pleased to participate; however, we felt that asking our supporters to purchase tickets and attend the event was not the best possible use of their time and resources. 

We appreciate the opportunity to be heard and share our message of accountability, core beliefs, and courage to those who attended.  We are optomistic about the remainder of this campaign.  Arkansans need and deserve the proper representation in Washington.  You can expect us to make that difference!
